Sultan Mars is a Los Angeles-based music video director and producer, originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Known for his dark, narrative-driven music videos, he has created striking works such as Monolith (2023), Cauldron of Thorns (2024), and Shadows (2025). A frequent collaborator with the popular dark wave goth band Twin Tribes, Mars brings a distinctive cinematic vision to his projects.

Mars earned a BA in Directing from Cal State Long Beach, where his student films garnered multiple jury awards at Campus Movie Fest, the world’s largest student film festival. In 2018, his work was showcased at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival through CMF, marking early recognition of his talent in the industry.
