Music videos are typically filmed around full performances, narratives, or stylized concepts. They’re designed to be the full length of the song and are often released on platforms like YouTube. With the right planning, scenes can be framed to fit both horizontal and vertical deliverables to optimize release strategy for socials.
Visualizers are typically shorter and more abstract. They typically cover a short section of the song, relying on visual loops, with a focus on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Spotify Canvas. While they’re often more cost-effective, a high-concept visualizer can exceed the budget of a stripped-down music video.
Each serves a different purpose, and we’ll help guide you toward the right format based on your creative goals, timeline, and budget. -
