Storage & organization
Storage and organization are the first critical steps in post-production. All footage is copied, labeled, sorted, and synced across secure systems to ensure nothing gets lost and the edit runs smoothly from the start.
This stage is often underestimated. Entire feature films have been delayed or derailed due to poor media handling. We treat all footage with the structure and care it demands. Every file is managed with professional discipline from the moment it’s offloaded.
ROUGH CUT
The rough cut is your first full look at the edit, a working version of the video built from the treatment. At this stage, our editors shape the pacing, refine the shot selection, and adjust the overall structure.
This is when your input is most impactful. Your feedback helps editors fine-tune the rhythm and energy to ensure the video aligns with the treatment and delivers the intended creative vision.
Picture Lock
Once picture lock has been achieved, the edit is final. The timing, structure, and shot order are set. This ensures the video reflects your input exactly and stays aligned with the approved vision through final delivery.
At this stage, our editors finalize the cut and hand it off to the VFX and Color, so the rest of post can move forward smoothly and without delay.
VFX
Visual effects are the post-production magic that turns great scenes into unforgettable ones, often without ever being noticed. They can be bold and stylized, or subtle and seamless, depending on the needs of the scene. Cleanups, set extensions, matte paintings, and subtle enhancements all often play a role in elevating the final cut.
What the project calls for determines the scope. Our team works closely with experienced VFX professionals to ensure every effect supports the vision and seamlessly enhances the locked edit.
Color grading is the final polish that shapes the tone and mood of your video. A consistent grade gives your project a professional, cohesive look that will translate across any monitor the video is viewed on.
